Carving on Wooden is the oldest Art learned by the human. Carved
wooden furniture origin from India and its sub continents. When the first time wooden carvings done on temples
and spiritual monuments by the wooden artisan of India and it was spread all over the world
from India including Chine, Kampuchea, Afghanistan,
Iran, Iraq, Europe and Africa when

was constructed dating back approximately in the middle of 2nd century BC are
the earliest examples of this Wooden art. All the figures at Bharhut are like a
series in which ancient happenings or small events are depicted in the form of
a continuous narration.
